Builders - Homeowners - Design Professionals
If you're new to building with SIPs, this is the class for you.
The SIPs 202 workshop combines classroom time and hands-on experience in the SIPschool shop. Students will complete the Builder Education with SIPs online classes through Lesson 9 before attending the SIPs 202 session.
Day One: We'll spend the morning reviewing SIP basics and Q & A. After lunch we'll move into the SIP tool review. If time allows, students will receive the panel layout drawings and begin review for their Day 2 project.
Day Two: Class project - students will build a small SIP structure using panel layout drawings to fabricate, install and seal SIPs in the field. We'll discuss all mechanical, HVAC, and cladding options as the project progresses.
Students are encouraged to bring their project plans to this session and will have the opportunity to sit down for a short consultation with one of our designers.
Day One: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM (or later, depending on questions from students)
Day Two: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM (or later, depending on questions from students)
