If you're planning on building with SIPs, this is the class for you. The SIPs 202 workshop combines classroom time and hands-on experience in the SIPschool shop. Students will complete the Builder Education with SIPs online classes through Lesson 9 before attending the SIPs 202 session. Students are encouraged to bring their own project plans and schedule a brief consultation/review by our SIP designer.
  • Day One:  We'll spend the morning reviewing SIP basics and Q & A. After lunch we'll move into the SIP tool review. If time allows, students will receive the panel layout drawings and begin review for their Day 2 project.
  • Day Two: Class project - students will build a small SIP structure using panel layout drawings to fabricate, install and seal SIPs in the field. We'll discuss all mechanical, HVAC, and cladding options as the project progresses.
